The Cleveland Gladiators played solid defence and came through with a 47-35 win over the Columbus Destroyers Saturday night.

Cleveland could not cover the 14.5-point spread, and the combined 82 points fell UNDER the posted total of 111.

Raymond Philyaw threw for six touchdowns to help the Gladiators clinch a playoff berth.

Matt Nagy went for 293 yards passing with three touchdowns in the loss.
