James MacPherson tossed five TD passes to lead the Grand Rapids Rampage past the Arizona Rattlers 48-41 in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.

The Rattlers had been favored by 1.5 points in this contest, while the combined score fell well UNDER the night's posted total (119).

MacPherson went 27-of-40 for 285 yards passing in the win, while Kenny Higgins and Cole Magner each had a pair of touchdown catches.

Jeff Smoker completed 17-of-24 pass attempts for 233 yards in the loss for the Rattlers, with four touchdowns and an interception.
